As ironic as it is, I think this Friday the 13th might be the best day I've had in a while.

What does everybody want for Christmas?

I don't believe in superstitions, but I'll admit, Friday the 13th wasn't a bad day all around.

As for Christmas, I think I'd rather be surprised by the people around me this year, there's nothing I want. I am planning a charity drive, though.

You had a good day, too?

Really? That's generous of you... What kind of charity?

Gah! Sorry this is so late~ herrglimmerous November 15 2009, 13:28:59 UTC
Of course, but then most of my days are pretty good, so I guess you could say it was average.

I was thinking some kind of a charity concert geared towards raising money and donating toys to resident children's hospitals.

That is generous. Good luck, if that's what you decide to do. That ought to make a lot of kids happy this Christmas.

You know what I'd really love?

A little tree in the apartment, with a bunch of colorful little presents around the tree. And getting up early and having a nice hot breakfast with the kids, then sitting around and opening presents together.
Maybe there would even be some snow for them to play in outside.

It would be even better if I didn't have to do the dishes afterwards.

The truth is, I don`t like saying what I want. I'd rather know what you feel I might like. Chance are, I will, and I like the surprise.

That makes sense. What's so tempting then?

Peace on Earth, goodwill toward men.

...I don't think I can deliver a present like that, as much as I'd like to.

I'd get it for myself, but that's not how things work.

As long as there aren't any viruses during it, I'll be happy.

You and me both.

How are you, anyway? It's been a while.

Pretty busy, between work, the wedding, and making Morgan do her homework.

Things are going well for you?

That's right. The wedding's coming up soon, isn't it? You must be excited.

They have, actually. Very well, in fact.
