The truth is, I don`t like saying what I want. I'd rather know what you feel I might like. Chance are, I will, and I like the surprise.

Let's just say I'm feeling generous. It's been a good day, and I'd be inclined to get gifts for half the community if I could.

Because today was the day I put in my final credit card payment.

Oh. You know, I see these ads on TV and I've been meaning to ask someone - what's a credit card?

Basically a piece of plastic that lets you spend money you don't have.

Huh. Wish I'd had one of those a few years ago. Though I don't need it now.

Well, congratulations, either way. Time to spend more money, right?

Well, you do have to pay the money back, plus fees and interest, so unless you're desperate, it's not really a good idea to get one if you don't know whether or not you'll be able to afford it later. They'll put you in debt fast.

Oh yes, moneylenders are vicious beasts indeed. Worse than most I've seen, in my opinion. I always tended to prefer to simply have no money than to put myself in their pockets.

Well, they have to make their own money somehow, and they really were helpful during a few binds... but I can't say I'd ever want to put myself in that situation again. Here's hoping I won't have to.
