One of the most frustrating things at work is trying to obtain a purchase order so that I might get someone in to fix my broken instrument. I imagine it to be somewhat like trying to get something done in Russia in the 80's. Maybe that's my problem--to get my goals accomplished, I need to start bribing my coworkers with rubles & vodka

You know, it always seems to be the small things that end up driving people crazy. For you, it's the 80's Russia-style brokering of instrument fixes and flaky florists.

For me, it's being a complete klutz, idiots in my way while driving to work, and tech support people who can't do their own research.

Chin up. You'll be irritable for a little while, but something will make you smile and keep smiling. Look for it. :)

(We've joked often, D & I, about getting a punching bag at the house for days such as yesterday. It really would be nice sometimes....)

Why get another punching bag when you already have one in a 6' 2" size? :-P I kid I kid. You'll have an AWESOME day tomorrow and before you know it, all of the wedding headaches will be over! Then you'll have plenty of time to work on your plan of helping D have an "accident" and collecting the life insurance money. ;-)
