Lorne had been keeping an eye out for Wesley by watching the security tvs because he knew that the man would try to sneak away if he could get the chance. He'd claim that he thought that Lorne was busy with something important and that he didn't want to interrupt with what could have been setting someone important for the side of good on the right path with their destiny so that one day they would save a train full of nuns and kittens.
