Lorne had insisted that Wesley come to see him tonight at this new club. Wes had been giving off all sorts of gloomy vibes lately. It was actually starting to worry him. Yes, the anniversary of Fred's again death was coming up. Yes, he would be reminded of her every day. What everyone seemed to be trying to stomp into his head was that he also had an adorable little son that he needed to celebrate. Not that he blamed the little boy or anything; it just seemed that Wes sort of forgot sometimes.
Lorne felt that Wes needed a night out. Of course, a night out tended to mean a night in some bar drinking himself half to death, if Lorne remembered correctly. If he came here, Lorne could keep an eye on him, and start switching his alcohol out with normal stuff if he started to get too far into it. Hopefully, Wes wouldn't start drinking like that here.
Lorne honestly hoped that seeing some of the demons trying to sing through a Britney Spears song would cheer him up a little. It was something that always cheered him up, that was for sure. Of course, some of the demons who sang here didn't have the proper parts to sing in human languages. That's what made it so funny, though.
Right now Lorne was waiting behind the bar for Wes to show up. If Lorne had to leave and go get him, well, he was probably going to get yelled at by Cordy in the morning because he made Wes have way too much fun that involved drinks that most humans hadn't even heard of, but they packed a punh and a half.
