So, University.

Mostly it went very well; the room was a bit too small for us to set up the way we wanted to, but we managed, and the room requirements go on the list for next time.  We transport a hell of a lot of materials, and without the help of lisettelaroux , fabulous apprentice, it would have been a lot more work for Bob.  We did a full day of talking,

So, I only recently found your website and LJ; is this a costuming related class?

It's a series of classes that lasted all day on all aspects of building an elizabethan persona. We call it "Elizabethan House".

I have taken your original 'helper' post to heart all these years. In fact, I was reminded of it just recently as I prepare to begin professional photography school. I absolutely will not 'help', and listen as if I've chosen to learn the subject, which I have.

This post of yours, today, reminds me how disruptive it is to the other students as well as the teacher. If I see it happen in my photography classes (starting Thursday night), I'm going to call out the 'helper' on the spot. The teacher may or may not thank me for it, but I'll get my money's worth.

I was sorry to have missed it, I was hoping to come but Emmie's birthday celebrations leaked over into Saturday and I didn't want to bail on everyone to go to University. I have a present for you though that I got at an antique/civil war show they had here in Richmond (it *might* be for a doll house, but you don't have to use it if you don't want to)

Hee! Well, it just so happens that we will be at the house this weekend, from Thursday/Friday through to Monday, and I also have something for Emmie...

That actually might work for us, if the weather is nice we are planning on going canoeing this weekend, and our favorite stretch of the river is only 15-20 minutes from the farm.

We will call you if it looks like we are going to make it out your way, and maybe we could bring you diner or something.

Sending off the CD information to a friend who is helping to start a 'history-centric' faire out here in the West. Seriously. I mean, a faire...with history. Whodathunkit?
