Still mad-busy at work, as it has just sunk in quite how much needs to get done before I leave (and more importantly quite how much I need to get done before the audit starts in a week and a half). I therefore present my last couple of days in ten words or less ( Read more... )

It was Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas. Here's a link to their CD on Amazon so you can have a listen if you like. I'm going to do a proper review later, but the short summary is "fantastic!". Really rhythmic, percussive, almost jazzy cello playing and Alasdair is clearly a virtuoso on the fiddle. I've never seen someone's fingers move so fast in the whole of my life. They tour a lot in the States too, apparently.

Cool :)

Are you big on the folk music then? Didn't know that before if so. (And if so, what sort of stuff do you like?)

Funny. I've almost always eaten muesli with yoghurt. Am going to Scotland for a week on Saturday. Hurrah!

Hooray for #6! If you've started the Princess Diaries books, they get even funnier. We were giving the bishop's assistant a ride one time, and he found one of them in the back seat of my car, and started reading aloud and cracking up so bad he could hardly talk... and he was not exactly the target audience... :)

*hugs*!

I've actually dived right in in the middle of the Mediator series. Have you read those? I was hooked in about the first four sentences when she started talking about using her babysitting money to buy Jimmy Choos :)
