deadline

i'm putting a moratorium on livejournal-as-i-know-it soon. I think I'm going to order one of these (renee has one that i covet, it's got a lot of pages and lays flat like butter); when it comes in, no more real-updates. i want to turn my life/thoughts more towards real life, a physical written-note as opposed to this fake thing; talks on the phone ( Read more... )

I'll really miss your posts -- especially those like the last one. I love talking to you on the phone and appreciate the immediacy, and hearing your voice, but your thoughtful ruminations in written words always catch in my throat. We certainly do talk about things like that in person, and I always love those conversations, but sometimes journal entries are great springboards to my own thinking, or to later conversations.

I'll just miss your written words.

[to tell the truth, i really like writing the written words. i doubt the End of Livejournal is ever really going to come...] :)

That's so analog. How quaint. Are you going to weave your own furniture and churn your own butter, too? ;)

I can forsee an analog revolution soon. As being online gets more and more common, people will rebel by taking it off. Snail mail will resurge. People will take physical photos. Folks will actually VISIT people instead of just cell-ringing them.

The future is weird.

yes and they're fanTAStic! I have a little little one that i write daily notes to myself in; the ink sits on the paper really nicely. you should get one. :)
