I'm counting this as the third day of autumn proper, and so I've finally finished my Space Girl jumper! I originally typed this as 'space git', so take it as you will. It's been mostly finished apart from the left sleeve since July, but I've been resisting doing it. Knitting sleeves is the absolute worst!

It's so cute! It looks a bit like the later series Fourth Doctor's scarf.

Blimey, you're right! I hadn't even spotted that, but it really does!

Perhaps I should get more of this colourway and make an enormo garter stitch scarf. This yarn is great btw - King Cole Riot DK, cheap and LOADS of yardage.

That's rather lovely!
I don't do swatches anyway, feels rather like something my mum would insist on...

Heh, I admit I don't generally bother swatching either! Even when I do, it still seems to give as much room for error as not bothering. And swatching in the round is just crazy!

Thank you! It is actually REALLY cozy, and absolutely fine to wear next to the skin. Hurrah!

Thank you! Sleeves really are just demoralising things, but they are worth it. These are just 3/4 length sleeves as I was worried about running out of yarn, but I probably would have enough yarn leftover* to lengthen them if I so desired (I don't think I have the heart though)!

*it's currently knitted up as part of a failed project tho .
