It's rather old news to everyone else but...
THE WRITER'S STRIKE IS OVER!!!!I'm so happy to hear that, but I can't seem to find out if or not the writers actually got the extra money that they wanted. and I don't really know but I guess the writers did get their money. The networks and shows are dependent on them, whereas the writers could have continued their strikes forever. So I guess they got what they wanted if the strike's over :D

I'm glad that something positive did come out fo it for them, especially since I've read that some of them were fired for striking. What happened to the right to peaceful protest??
I have a question for you, and I figure you'd probably have the best answer. My friends and I are looking to go on a short holiday in July some time and most of us speak french, so we thought we should go to France, but I have no idea where. Can you think of anywhere that would be particuarly good so that there are things for us to do, but not somewhere too expensive???? Thanks.
