Tim was a little surprised that Verard wanted to talk to him but he took it as a sign of greater acceptance from the people that meant something to Tormin and Ridley. "Hello Verard."

Verard inclined his head. "Lieutenant Miller," he spoke formally, for the man had never given him permission to call him 'Tim', "I have a gift for you from myself and some others of my people. It is within my tent. Is it all right for you to come with me for a moment?"

Tim had no idea what the 'gift' could be that that made him nervous just because he wasn't completely sure what Athosian culture demanded in this situation. He looked towards the direction that Ridley went hoping that the other man would reappear. However, his lover was no where to be seen. "Sure," he replied before he followed the other man. "You can call me Tim if you want," he said casually. He didn't mind if he was called by his first name.
