Jack glanced at his watch and closed down the video player. He just didn't have the attention span today. It was still a bit early, but he was hungry and Carson had called and said he was back from the Mainland so he could plan on lunch. If he needed to hang out in Carson's office for a few minutes, it was better than being bored here.

Carson groaned in pain as he tried to move into a better position. Someone grabbed him and he tried to protect himself the best that he could considering everything hurt. To say the least he was subdued again very quickly. Someone said his name. Wait, was that Jack? Carson open his eyes, and saw his friend. "Jack...he left. Took ..my keys," he whispered. His throat hurt like hell.

Jack nodded, carefully checking his friend over. Carson's face was a wreck, covered in blood, with both his mouth and nose bleeding and Jack could see blood pooling under his head as well. Carson's throat was swollen and beginning to purple. "Okay," he said, trying to keep calm. "Just lie still until we get someone in here to check on you." He hit his earbud. "Control, this is Jackson in the infirmary. Be advised Lieutenant Ford attacked Doctor Beckett in the infirmary, broke into a drug cabinet, and is now at large. We need to get whoever we've got out looking for him and we need another doctor to the infirmary. Carson's injured."

"Understood and I will get someone there," Peter acknowledged, his alarm contained under his efficiency. "Grodin to Heightmeyer. There is a medical emergency that needs your attention. Please report to the infirmary immediately," Peter radioed.

Kate got Peter's call and asked for information. "Dr. Grodin, what's the emergency? We have one here as well." She looked to Elizabeth so that the other woman knew something was happening.

"Carson's been attacked and we have a Ford at large. He needs you," Peter replied, "and I need to get security. Please report."
