By the time Ridley got examined, X-rayed, wrapped, and crutched, everyone else was through the post-mission check-out and had already headed off to various and assundry places. Tim could tell that Ridley was pleased that he'd waited and that made him happy. The happiness scared him though because he couldn't be like Ridley. He couldn't just do what he pleased and live his life the way he wanted. It was frustrating but it was a choice made long ago.

However, Tim forced those thought away and returned the other man's smile. "Well there was a suggestion that I was charming so I thought I'd live up to that," Tim said, his voice warm and low.

"Oh, well, you could 'charmingly' help me pack," Ridley suggested. "And then we can have dinner, maybe watch a movie or something." He wouldn't say what he was really looking forward to doing.

Tim wasn't thrilled with the packing part but thought that it might actually be for the best. He was really looking forward to the 'something' part of the evening but couldn't say anything out in the open so he followed the other man's lead. "I think that sounds like something I could help you with," he said before adding, "after all, I'm up for anything."

Ridley raised his eyebrows suggestively at the 'up for anything' but refrained from saying anything. "I'd appreciate that. I don't know what they're serving in the mess. We could either get something from there later or eat with the Athosians."

The thought of eating with the Athosians scared Tim and he was sure his face showed it. He wasn't sure if he could get through it and then later be expected to get an erection. No doubt they'd all talk about hearing them along with the gift thing (just like breakfast but only worse) and it would make him too self conscious.

"Could I just get food for the three of us?" he asked.
