"Rodney, he's fine. He's just scared and a little worried that he broke something. No reports of any injury," Peter answered calmly. A panicked Rodney was no help.

Rodney drew a deep breath, trying to calm down. "Good," he said. "That's good." He scratched his head, in an attempt to gain time to sort his thoughts. "Okay, we need to locate Springour and Carson, so we can fetch them. And we need to repair the transporters. But first of all we need to take the transporters offline. I need you to make an announcement, that people should stay off the transporters and use the stairs instead."

Peter thought it sounded like a good plan but he hoped Elizabeth would be brought into the loop. On a more selfish note, he hoped that everything would be fixed before his date with said leader. "Sounds good. Did you want to tell Elizabeth or should I, because when I make the announcement she'll have questions," Peter asked.

Rodney wasn't keen on talking to Elizabeth, but he knew it was a duty he could not delegate to Peter. "I'll talk to her in a minute," he said, then turned to his staff.

"Springour and Carson got misplaced by the transporter," he said and pointed at Kavanagh and Patel. "You two will go and repair Springour's transporter. Simpson and Kusagani will check the transporter by the mess hall, and you," his finger pointed at Price. "You come with me. We get Carson," he said determinedly.

Harvey had been following the conversation easily and was already in motion before McKay pointed his finger at him. He gave the man a brief nod without looking up, fingers tapping out last second sequences before he synched up his tablet.

Gathering up a selection of tools, Price slung the bag over one shoulder and tucked his tablet up against him. He pumped his eyebrows once as he came up to Rodney, tilting his head with a cheeky grin. "Off to the rescue, eh?"
