Day 53, Afternoon; control room, Attn: Peter, Rodney, others (F)

He'd just finished the conversation with Price and Patel regarding the repairs of the transporters when he received a call from control.

"McKay here," he replied, suppressing a sigh. "What's the problem, Peter?"

"We have another transporter malfunction which means that Sergeant Springour and company is lost," Peter complained. At this rate they would just lose people inside the city.

Rodney grit his teeth and shook his head. As if he didn't have enough to deal with already. "That's not good," he said. "Do you know where they wanted to go? Or where they're stuck?"

"Yes and no. They were heading to the greenhouse but I've not had a chance to find them because we've lost another person," Peter paused to let that settle before he continued, "Rodney, we've lost Carson and he thinks he broke the transporter. I've told everyone to sit tight."

Peter looked over to Elizabeth and saw her working. How was she going to take losing both Radek and Carson?

"What?" Rodney felt like being hit by a truck. "Where is he? Is he all right?" Frantically he looked around in the room that suddenly had fallen silent, all eyes resting on him. He'd been upset at Carson, but he couldn't stand the thought of Carson being hurt.
