Carson smiled reassuringly at Kate as she hurried into his office. She looked tired but then she should be. She wasn't anymore disheveled then anyone else so he would let her fatigue go for now. "That's fine Kate. I did have to sedate Radek for the time being but that does give us some time to get our ideas straight."

Kate looked just as sleepy as the rest of them and Rodney greeted her with a nod, holding up the teabags. "Good morning. I was just about to make some tea, want some too?"

Kate was touched by Rodney's civility and thought maybe a sleepy McKay was the way to go. Smiling, she said, "Thank you, Rodney. Tea would be great." Kate didn't think it mattered if it had caffeine in it or not because after this discussion she had a feeling that sleep would not return.

Looking at the group overall she asked, "What exactly happened tonight?"

Giving Kate a sleepy smile, Rodney got up from his chair. Maybe it was the best the others filled Kate in. Suppressing a yawn, he left Carson's office and traversed the infirmary, towards the water dispenser. He took his time, infusing the bagged tea in the small plastic cups.

Carson watched Rodney leave to get tea before he answered Kate's question. He wanted to make sure they were all paying attention and also to give himself some more time to gather his thoughts. “Well, what we know is that Radek attacked the wraith worshiper. He initially tried to use a gun, which we aren’t sure where he got it from. When he was met with resistance, he ended up hurting her with a knife. He got the knife forcibly from one of the marines. However, the lass didn’t die from the wounds inflicted by Radek. She was fed upon by the wraith prisoner,” he said in an almost removed way. It was a hard story to tell seeing as the whole thing seemed so surreal.
