John glanced at his watch and sighed. It looked like he'd either been forgotten or Carson and Rodney were running late. ( He very carefully didn't think about why they might be running late. )

Rodney was warm and sated and still a little light-headed as he stepped out of the shower to towel dry. Carson was dressing quickly and looking awesome in his blue shirt, Rodney thought, his jeans halfway up his thighs, staring at Carson. If he hadn't been so profoundly satisfied, his body might have taken interest again. Looking up, Carson caught his gaze and Rodney swallowed.

"You, you are so," he started, then the words died on his lips.

Carson glanced over at Rodney, who looked utterly smitten. He smiled, leaning over to kiss him softly. "We're late, love, and the Major's waiting in the corridor for us."

With closed eyes, Rodney leaned into the kiss, one hand holding onto Carson's upper arm for support, the other caressing his face. He didn't want to think about the Major's teasing comments yet, or having to leave their quarters. He was still high from his orgasm and just wanted to wrap his arms around Carson and hold him for a bit.

"Oh god," he whispered. "Don't remind me of that, I've had the most embarrassing chat with him this afternoon."

Carson raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "Hurry up and get your kit on, love. Let's not keep him waiting any longer than we must. I'm sure it was rough enough for him with me meeting him in my robe."

Rodney rolled his eyes at Carson and quickly bottoned his jeans. He grabbed a shirt and when he buttoned it up, noticed it was the same he wore on their first date. A huge grin on his face, he slipped in his shoes and tied them up.

"Carson," he called when the other man already stepped up to the door. Carson stopped and turned around. "It, it really was worth it," Rodney quietly said, feeling his cheeks colour.
