I had an amazing time at Comic-con and will hopefully get around to posting a summary -- highlights include Terry Moore of Strangers in Paradise, Kevin Smith, the Heroes and Supernatural panels (I should have taken notes! Sadness. I knew John Travolta was going to be awful, but I had high hopes for Christopher Walken. Oh well. (Won't stop me from seeing it, obviously. Queen Latifah and Spike FTW.)

Oh! Not Spike (James Marsters), actually, but Cyclops/Scott Summers from X-men (James Marsden). I get their names confused sometimes, too.

Walken was not in general as bad as Travolta, but their scenes together were by far the worst part of the movie. It's still absolutely worth seeing, though, because of the rest of it totally rocks.

Heh, I was walking through Borders the other day when they were playing the Hairspray soundtrack, and I stopped dead in my tracks at the sound of John Travolta. I mean, Edna's supposed to be creepy, and I saw the broadway version and thought that Harvey Fierstein was hilarious, but I thought in the soundtrack John Travolta sounded too much like...John Travolta.
