So I watched the pilot and 1st episode last night on E4 and enjoyed them immensely. Will definately be watching the rest of the series, and hoping that we actually get to see more of Kurt, Tina & Mercedes (yeah, I don't really care about the two apparent 'leads', oh well).

Apparantly, it's quite focussed on the leads, and the shiny diverse background cast don't get as much limelight as they might.

And the fact that the disabled character is not played by a disabled actor and therefore doesn't really know how to wheelchair dance properly and looks really fucking uncomfortable doing it kinda irritates me.

Other than that, what I've seen of it is shiny. :D

Erg, so more about pretty-and-smart-but-somehow-unpopular girl and jock-with-a-heart boy? Joy...The other thing that annoys me is that yes, they are both really good singers, but Kurt, Tina & Mercedes have *interesting* voices that I want to hear more of. (Particularly Kurt, but then I have a thing for high male voices *grin*)
