I realize that this post was just disturbing.  Sorry about that.  I lost my job 5 weeks ago.  My unemployment benefits were denied and I am in the appeals process

Supports I believed would be in place are not. Nor will they be for some time to come.

I believed that certain community supports would be in place when I lost my job. They are not there and I am facing losing my place and my cats.

There is not much out here for regular working people who grow ill. Beat your children, rob liquor stores, abuse drugs there is help bleeding out of the ass of society. But not for working people who just can't do it any longer.

I'll take that mojito and dinner, but most of all the company!!
