I went on a retreat with IV this weekend. It was really great. We studied the book of Ruth and took long walks in the woods. Also I played many games of 6 handed euchre. When I got back, I found a way to apply what I had learned at the retreat, which was pretty cool ( Read more... )

It’s not my place to judge, but getting married partially because your younger sister is getting married probably won’t be a good decision in the long term. Of course, I know none of the details, so for Amanda’s sake I hope that she has found the perfect person for her… because that really is a true happiness. :)

Um, that’s a lot of weddings. How many of them are friends, and how many of them are family? And what’s the rule about bringing dates to weddings? I was never sure you had to, until a few months ago when a friend of mine called and asked me to be her date at one of her friends’ weddings… hmm, how does that work? Are you bringing a date? Maybe you’re working on it? :p speaking of which, any details or updates with Justin's roommate?
