Sarah and Kerrilee are high school friends, Katie and Beth are college friends, and Amanda and Melanie are my cousins.
I'm not really sure about bringing dates to weddings. My friend Nicole informed me that once you reach a certain age (about 20 I guess) you should bring a date to a wedding to have someone to sit with and dance with. However, I have no intention of bringing a date to Amanda or Melanie's weddings because we are flying out to Conneticut and that would mean having to buy another plane ticket. And at Beth and Katie's weddings, there will be many friends from IV there, so a date wouldn't be necessary. Also at Katie's wedding there will be no dancing because her father is a conservative pastor.
About Justin's roommate (whose name is Mark by the way) I invoked the norm of reciprocity with him, and he invited me over for dinner at some nebulous time in the future, because I bought him a lot of food from late night with credits, so he said that he owes me dinner. Yay for reciprocity!
