I don't suppose California is an at-fault state? If anyone owes you BIG, it's this idiot, and his insurance needs to be sued into the ground.

In the space of an instant, I went from having reliable transportation with no monthly payments to being a pedestrian.

If his insurance doesn't cough up enough to leave me both with transportation and payment-free, I will sue this motherless lush until he has to sell a KIDNEY.

Maybe both.
