I prefer the story about the pig, but this works very well too.

My favorite example is the guy who went to the hospital for injuries related to an assault he claimed to have suffered during his standing in protest against the health-care reformers.

He was unemployed, and so, claimed to be without health-care insurance coverage. He took up a collection with the other anti-health-care protesters to pay his bills.

...then it turned out that video proof showed the man was the assaulter, not the victim. And it turned out that he did have coverage through his wife, and that the money he was collecting was just for himself.

I swear the reason these people fear any form of socialism is because they fear everyone is as crooked and selfish as they are.

The name is Kenneth Gladney -- Google it if you dare. Depending on what you read, he is a complete idiot, or an American hero -- you know how it goes. There's more online about him being a hero right now -- because while the rest of us have moved on, the right-wing is still trying to find their next 'Joe the Plumber'. At this point, it looks like he'll be 'Kenneth the Black Conservative'.

However, if you check the actions of Kenneth, and not his claims, you'll see a very apparent pattern of attention whoring.

In fact, looks like he did one better while I wasn't paying attention and claimed to have gotten the NAACP involved without actually telling the NAACP. WTF?

Why do you hate America?! Clearly, unregulated private enterprise will always provide the best imaginable services as the invisible hand of the market makes everything okay! WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT?! The Baby Jesus weeps because you hate America.

This wins. It wins a cookie at the very least.
