Bart whirled, eyes wide and yellow and anxious. "Oh!" he said, and, "yeah," and tried to smile reassuringly as he settled onto the futon next to Harry.

He's pretty sure he wasn't any good at it.

Harry smiled faintly. He missed Bart and was glad he thought to stay with him for a while. He needed the distraction.

"Neil kissed me," he blurted out.

Bart jumped up off the couch in surprise, words falling out of his mouth before he had the time to think about them. "Are you cheating on Mr. Snape? Harry!"

Best friend he might be, but the two of them were like - *family*, and Mr. Snape -

wait. If he was cheating on Mr. Snape, he probably wouldn't look so upset, right?

Harry gaped and shook his head. Well, he wasn't so shocked, the way he had said it wasn't exactly perfect, but when was anything he said perfect. "Of course I'm not!"
