ooc: AN OPENING! I'M GOING IN!Stumbling around town was taking too long, Kyle thought, he knew he wasn't getting anywhere. He had no idea as to where he was, having just been thrust from the back of a black van that immediately raced off. The boy watched it go before finding himself on his hands and knees, throwing up on the grass in the middle of the park. The water hadn't tasted too good either and now all he was left with was his pale blue shirt covered with vomit, grass stains on his jeans, and absolutely no home with no food and no way to call home. Kyle didn't even know the phone number to the Tragers house, he was lost indefinately ( ... )

Kyle had been about to say something, but closed his mouth as she left. Again he looked around, took in the place and memorized it all in seconds. The floor had at least a thousdand tiles of one foot by one foot sizing, that was at least a certain amount of feet total in the area that one might not even be able to write out without thinking it over. Kyle was a genius, book sense, but an idiot in common sense.

Later, he looked up at Lana as she came over. On the table sat a pile of napkins. However it couldn't be concidered a pile, for they were all folded in half and stacked on top of each other until they made a one foot tall and two foot wide tower that looked much like the restaurant from the outside. Windows and doors and even a few pieces of bush made by ripping the paper and twisting it together. As he looked at Lana, he smiled. "I'm ready."

Lana's eyes widened after she noticed the stack of napkins on the table. "You... you made this?" she asked, surprised etched into her voice. It's not as if someone else had done it; he was the only one around that table.

Shaking her head, she said, "Come on, let's go." Lana waited for him to stand up and then led the way out of the coffee shop and started down C street, making sure the boy was next to her. Kyle was already like a little brother, in a sense. She'd never had a little brother and truthfully had no idea what to do or say. "So... I take it you're not from around here?"

Kyle looked back at his creation and then followed after her out the door. His blue and white sneakers made little clops on the ground as he walked along on the sidewalk just beside Lana. "So... I take it you're not from around here?" That's what he heard from her. Looking over at the brunette female on his right he shook his head. "I don't know where 'here' is." He said and shook his head just slightly again.

"Here?" How could he not know where here is? Would that explain why he was in such a ragged condition when he walked into the Coffee Cafe? "We're in Canada - specifically Aternaville." Lana bit her lip, but by the answer he gave her it meant that he wasn't from around there.

At her reply he shook his head. He didn't even know Canada was it's own country. He'd only been going to school for so long and though while smart in other areas like art and math, geography was something you had to learn. It wasn't something the brain could just pick up at first glance, however if you gave Kyle longetude and latetude numbers he could easily figure out something from it. Shrugging at her in a "I'm hopeless" kind of way, he sighed. "I was thrown from the back of a van."

Lana smiled gently at Kyle again. He really wasn't from around... The boy didn't seem to make sense, but she was at least glad she could help him. What he said as they turned onto Main Street shocked her though. She blinked a few times, as if to clear her head. "Where did you live before the van incident?"
