Moira had no clue what brought her to the burrito place. She needed to get out and couldn't decide where to eat. She stopped at the burrito place just because she was so exhausted from walking.
She moved to the left after ordering and waited for her food, and dropped her wallet. "Damn," she muttered, as she contemplated how best to pick up the wallet without falling or magickally without drawing attention to herself.
As the pretty young girl dropped her wallet, Sam didn't miss a beat.
"Here, let me get that for you," he offered, kneeling down and picking up the accessory. "Here you go." He stood, handing the wallet over with his winning smile.
"I'm Sam," he replied, smiling back. "You've got a beautiful accent. Irish, right?" Maybe it was the fact that the only person he'd spoken to for four days was Dean, but Sam was craving human contact, and Moira seemed friendly enough.
"Thank you," Moira said to the man, before turning back to Sam.
"Em, bout a year, I suppose," she replied, examining his aura. A curious mixture of some sort of supernatural powers that she wouldn't necessarily qualify as good in origin, but also a shiningly good heart. "What brought you here of all places?"
"I'm not... I'm not sure, to be honest," Sam replied with a sigh. It was true, after all. "My buddy and I just sort of found ourselves here. We're not sure what we're looking for, or what we're gonna do now that we're here, but now that I'm here... I don't know, this just feel like where I was supposed to be headed."
Sam stopped talking finally, realizing how he'd managed to take that half-truth and turn it into a full truth and probably sound even more crazy than he'd originally intended. With a light-hearted chuckle, he dipped his head. "Sorry. I know, that sounds crazy."
Moira smiled up at him. "Not entirely sure it's that crazy at all. You'd be surprised at how normal of an arrival story that is comparatively. But you came with a friend? That's lovely. It's nice to know someone in town." from before. Moira seemed to be one of the few people without any link to her past. For some people that would be ideal. Not so for Moira.
Sam may not have had the aura reading abilities in a supernatural sense, but he was one of the most empathic people you'd ever meet. He could tell that Moira had a sense of longing, and he made an educated guess that she might just want to feel more connected. Who didn't?
"Er, yeah. ...Wait, what do you mean, comparatively? I'd say showing up here without rhyme or reason is pretty unusual."
Moira grinned. "Well you said you came here, and yes, without rhyme or reason is a mite odd, but I assume you drove or took a plane or the like? People don't always do that," she smirked. She wondered how much odd he'd heard about the town already. "Also, I'm pretty sure you're from 2008."
The man behind the counter slid Sam his bag and gave him and Moira a look as if saying you're taking up my counter space before walking back to prepare more food.
"...What?" Even for Sam, this was weird. He didn't do time travel. It always fucked shit up. "...You wanna... sit? Cause now you've got me interested and you can't just tease me like that," he explained with a hopeful smile and puppy-dog eyes.
Moira laughed. "Sure, sitting would be nice," she said as she grabbed her bag and made her way to the nearest table, in an endearing hobbling manner. The tall and not entirely graceful girl hadn't had the easiest time with her crutches, but was at least managing to rather successfully use them. If not awkwardly. Sitting down, and putting her crutches down, Moira took out her burrito with a playful grin.
"So you don't fully know of all the weird this lovely town has to offer?"
"I mean, yeah, I've heard rumors and stuff. I'm kindof a history buff, and I love local legends and seeing how they change from town to town, but the ones about this town in particular seemed more like crazed ramblings from a guy hopped up on something. ...You're not serious about the whole 'at least you're from 2008' thing, are you?" Sam plucked his own burrito from the bag and took a gulp of his drink, raising an eyebrow.
"...And... the mind-boggling part?" Sam asked, his stomach churning a bit. He had a gut feeling there was more to this than he knew, and that he and Dean may be in over their heads. They didn't have Bobby, or Ruby, or Ellen, or anyone for that matter. And time travel was something they'd never even contemplated.
She moved to the left after ordering and waited for her food, and dropped her wallet. "Damn," she muttered, as she contemplated how best to pick up the wallet without falling or magickally without drawing attention to herself.

"Oh, thank you, I'm half useless on these things. I'm Moira," said the Irish girl with a smile.

Sam seemed very nice but gave off the slight new vibe. Actually, his aura was quite interesting.
