Sam had silently made his way out of the hotel room as soon as Dean had fallen asleep, which had been unusually early for his brother. Sam figured it might be the climate getting to him. They'd been all over the country, literally, but never this far north. They'd never crossed up into Canada. As much as they roamed, they pretty much only went in one country. It had been a unique stroke of luck coupled with a tip from an anonymous hunter and a bizarre article they'd stumbled upon that had led them here, though so far as they could tell, everything they'd found had pointed them in the right direction.

Sam had spent the previous night tracking down a local IP server and finding a chat group with a bunch of locals discussing all sorts of incresingly bizarre things ranging from gay sex trafficing to witches. Hopefully needless to say, the latter was what had interested him more. All day Sam had spent checking out the odd system the town had set up, a local network of internet blogs with free use. To him the whole thing screamed one kind of conspiracy or another. And as soon as he'd seen it, his heart ached, longing for Ash. He may have been insane, but the guy was a God when it came to computers.

Dean had decided to order a pizza and, as usual, eaten most of it himself, leaving Sam's stomach grumbling. So, when the doors to the hotel swung open automatically, the blinking sign for the burrito restaurant across the street seemed as good a place as any to grab a bite. Maybe he'd even get to experience some of the town first-hand. With a jingle, he opened the door and entered the greasy little place. It smelled horrible in here, but then again, he hadn't come for the scents. He stood in line, scanning the menu as a woman on crutches ordered in front of him.
