Saturday in the Park
Who: EVERYONE!
When: July 12, Noon to whenever the party ends
Where: Aternaville City Park
Rating: PG-13 at the highest kids!

It was a fine day for a party!
The park was crowded with all manner of people who had gathered for the Founder's Day Celebration. At the northern end of the park, near the large pavilion, the town council is busy preparing to feed the town hamburgers and hot dogs later in the afternoon. There are a couple of concession stands along the edges of the park selling things like lemonade, pretzels and cotton candy for those with a sweet tooth. And of course, that summer staple, sno-cones that are free to all!
At the west end of the park, there was a small bandstand set up for the various local bands who would be playing throughout the day and evening. To the east, a small ferris wheel and merry-go-round are available free of charge to whoever wants a ride. The children's playground is surrounded by booths with games and prizes for all ages.
