Giselle was a very good squirrel entrancer, and she smiled at the squirrel, crouching to greet it. "Hello, little friend! What's your name?"

The squirrel chirruped, and Giselle frowned. "I'm not sure I understand that, but I'll call you Chip!" She did love animals, but they didn't seem to speak as clearly here as they did in Andalasia. Giselle liked talking to the animals in the park. It made her feel a little less homesick.

Oh! So that was the squirrel's name! She had been trying to ask since forever, which was never at all but she had meant to ask sometime. And now had her answer. "Chip." Chip-Chip. It was like a song going through her head. Giggling, Del turned her head over her shoulder, watching her constant doggie companion catch up, and came out slowly behind the tree.

"Chip-chee-cheekoo?" Delirium, having not heard the part about the pretty woman not understanding, tried out her best Squirrel dialect to say hello.

Giselle saw a woman emerge from behind the tree, and although she didn't exactly understand the squirrel language, she could recognize squirrel talk when she heard it. She gasped softly, taking a step forward.

"Hello!" Giselle said softly. "I'm Giselle. Are you a squirrel under a spell?" Animals did get turned into human beings sometimes, and if this lady was one, it was up to Giselle to help!

Del smiled brilliantly. She understood! And spoke both languages! "Spells and Dels..Dels are spells, some think!" There was a pause, where Del stopped swaying even if her hair kept moving. Like there was a breeze just on that. "Giselle." She repeated her name just then, nodding. Then switched back to Squirrel Talk, which really was just sort of gibberish. In a non-gibberish sort of way.

"Cheek-chee-cha-koo?" Asked curiously, "You are new?" She couldn't tell anymore, since she had been gone. "Every one new. Or old. And new again." Knowing that this place had a tendency to let people come and go, even from different points, Delirium understood that they were all old and young at the same time.
