Moira put a leash on Niamh and placed Tamara in her carrier. It was a bit chilly outside, but Moira had decided on a t-shirt and a skirt (the green one). She was more than glad that she was back to being a girl. But this was troublesome. Bill was back and said he'd found Earth twice? And Laura was nowhere to be found...
When Moira got there, he opened the door and grinned. "Look at you." Coming around the carrier, he gave Moira a light kiss in hello.
After a moment with his girlfriend, he crouched down to say hi to the other girlfriend. You know, the one with four legs. "And look at you! Pretty as ever." He ruffled up her fur and pet that spot right behind Niamh's ear that she liked so much. Once Niamh was given her hello, he looked into the carrier and grinned at Tamara, tickling the kiddo lightly. "Didn't forget about you, I promise."
Once all of the girls were greeted, Zak ushered them all in and took the carrier from Moira so that she get comfortable. "How's it feel to be back to normal?"
Moira couldn't help but grin as she watched Zak say hello to Niamh and Tamara. Closing the door behind her and letting Niamh off her leash, Moira smiled. "It feels perfect. It's nice to actually be me again. You have no idea." Moira walked over to Zak and just hugged him, not particularly wanting to let go. "It's brilliant to be able to just be yourself sometimes."
He maneuvered Tamara so that she could see what was going on, but not so that she was in the way with that carrier thing. And when Moira came up and hugged him, he was happily returning it.
"I bet it is." He smiled, leaning in and placing a kiss on her jawline before placing another one on her mouth. "I do kind of like you with a little more hair." Teased lightly.
Here , have an Admiral. Sorry for the wordy and rather lengthy post ;)oldmanadamaApril 14 2009, 11:50:30 UTC
It didn't take that long for Bill to show up at the apartment, after the encounter with Starbuck and Zak. He'd arrived in town dressed in his uniform, and he hadn't felt up to checking in on the job he apparently had yet. Gods. A judge - Joe Adama would have been proud (and possibly laughing).
And if Bill didn't feel up to checking in at the courts, then he certainly wasn't ready to go down to the cabin to retrieve clothing and other items. The place would just feel...empty. Which was part of the reason why he was even considering moving in with his son. The other was that he figured Zak probably needed the company, after Lee had apparently disappeared too.
Still, he couldn't help feeling a little nervous (like being shot out the launch tubes for the first time), as he knocked on the door.

The knock came as a bit of a surprise, considering that he hadn't really expected Bill to knock. So, after handing Tam over to Moira (having still been playing with her), Zak got up to answer it.
He smiled sheepishly upon seeing his father, a hand coming up to rub the back of his neck. "You don't have to knock, Pop." Reminded with a lift of his eyebrows. Then he leaned in and gave a one-armed hug. "Good to see that you're taking up my offer."
..apparently he had a lot to say?:PoldmanadamaApril 14 2009, 14:23:23 UTC
"Forgive an old man, son. Been a while since we've had to deal with doors that aren't hatches," Bill joked. Then his arm came around Zak, returning the hug. "Didn't have anywhere else better to be," he said, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "Haven't really got much to move in," he said, arm still around Zak. "And I didn't want to go back to the cabin to..." he swallowed. "You know. So, I figured I'd drop by." He looked at his son. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"
Digesting the news that the first Earth wasn't Earth and was destroyed, she contemplated as Zak handed her Tamara and went to get the door. She was curious as to whether this was in her past or future, actually.
Moira heard Bill's voice and peeked her head round the corner, still holding Tamara. When Tamara caught sight of Bill, along with hearing his voice, the little girl let out a squeal of delight. Someone had missed her parents.
"Not interupting," Moira smiled as Tamara tugged on her hair.
