She'd just finally gotten her body back. Or well, her body back to how it was supposed to be. Thank the Gods!

All the new memories were still rattling around her head, but she figured the best way to deal with them was to simply keep going with her life. She held a bag of groceries in one hand.

Kara looked over into the plastic bag to make sure that the bread wasn't getting smooshed, when she looked up, there was the Old Man.

"How was frakking the president?" she smirked and belatedly added the somewhat required "Sir."

Walking into town, Bill almost stopped dead at the sound of a very familiar voice. One which quite frankly, he'd not expected to hear again. Especially not after what Lee had told him.

"What do you hear, Starbuck?"

He walked quickly over to her. "Gods, it's good to see you." He was tempted to pull her into a hug - except that he didn't quite know how she might react.

But at the mention of the President, Bill looked down. "We went back to Galactica, Kara."

"Nothing but the rain." The way he said that, did he remember too?

"What, sir, I mean?"

Ok, she was confused.

"Then get your gun and bring in the cat." That was the last thing he'd said to her, as well. And yet, here she was - still the same as ever, by the looks of things.

"It's..a long story." He shook his head. "I thought I dreamed up this place, you know. Back on Galactica."

Zak had actually been keeping himself busy lately. How could he not, what with everyone disappearing on him. And today was no different. Well, okay. It was a little different, considering that his girlfriend was a boy, or had been a boy. But that was Earth. He was certain that Earth was just..wacky, to put it best.

So he was walking, hands in his pockets as he was going to the grocery store. And wasn't terribly surprised of running into Kara as she came back from the grocery store. What he was surprised about was running into his father. "Pop!" He was back!

Bill froze at the sound of a voice he had not heard in many years, that of his long dead...No. He frowned. That's not quite right. Is it?. Obviously, his memories were all still a little mixed up at the moment. He could still remember the day of Zak's funeral. But he also remembered Zak, dancing happily at a party with a young red haired girl (whose name escaped him for the moment), while he swept past with Laura in his arms.

"Zak." He looked over at his youngest, trying to make sense of this latest development. "Good to see you."

"Get lost in the woods, Old Man?" He didn't disappear then! The youngest Adama grinned boyishly and came over, clapping his hand on Bill's shoulder. "You scared the shit out of us." Spoken honestly. Because it was true, especially so soon after Lee disappearing.

But then..something was off. "Alright?"

Kept you on your toes, did I?" Bill almost jumped when Zak touched his shoulder. Everything was still a little...off. Like the dead son who was very much alive, and a Kara in two places at the same time.

But it was all falling into place gradually - if a little more slowly than he might have liked.

"And not exactly, son." He looked at Zak, almost sadly. "Seems we ended up back on Galactica instead." He swallowed slowly. "We found Earth. Twice." And Laura...but he didn't really feel up to talking about that just yet.
