She'd just finally gotten her body back. Or well, her body back to how it was supposed to be. Thank the Gods!

All the new memories were still rattling around her head, but she figured the best way to deal with them was to simply keep going with her life. She held a bag of groceries in one hand.

Kara looked over into the plastic bag to make sure that the bread wasn't getting smooshed, when she looked up, there was the Old Man.

"How was frakking the president?" she smirked and belatedly added the somewhat required "Sir."

Walking into town, Bill almost stopped dead at the sound of a very familiar voice. One which quite frankly, he'd not expected to hear again. Especially not after what Lee had told him.

"What do you hear, Starbuck?"

He walked quickly over to her. "Gods, it's good to see you." He was tempted to pull her into a hug - except that he didn't quite know how she might react.

But at the mention of the President, Bill looked down. "We went back to Galactica, Kara."

"Nothing but the rain." The way he said that, did he remember too?

"What, sir, I mean?"

Ok, she was confused.

"Then get your gun and bring in the cat." That was the last thing he'd said to her, as well. And yet, here she was - still the same as ever, by the looks of things.

"It's..a long story." He shook his head. "I thought I dreamed up this place, you know. Back on Galactica."

She turned her head, "So you actually went back?"

Kara gasped, "You mean all that is real?"

"I think so," he said. "That is, we must have done. Only started getting the dreams after Baltar's trial." And from what little he could piece together, hadn't had much of a vacation before they were both whisked back to the CIC.

Bill looked intently at her. "That would depend on what you mean by 'real', Kara." Maybe she'd appeared here, after she left. Could be a possibility, right? "Sitrep, Starbuck."

Great, how to put everything into something that make sense.

"I came here after I crashed into the planet, I've lived here for years, and then." she shook her head, "I went down into the canyon...I touched one of those weird artifacts and next thing I knew, I remembered this other life."

She swallowed, "This life where I came back to the Bucket right away, we found earth, Gods, we found earth twice."

Kara shook her head,wondering just how many copies of herself there were running around in the universe.

"I remember." He'd taken a Viper out, gone after her and Lee after they'd both disappeared. "Or I think I remember." He pinched the bridge of his nose. "Gods, this is confusing."

That last part, though? Really made him think. "We did," he said. Another glance at Kara. She didn't seem to be vanishing any time soon...

"So." A pause, as if uncertain how to phrase his next statement. "You're not the Kara who led us there." The one who executed the seemingly blind jump, that led them all to their final destination.

"I don't know, I feel like I am. I can't be though, I mean it makes more sense to have the memories downloaded."

She shook her head, "Listen to me, never thought I'd say something like that."

"Lee said that you - or rather, the you that was on Earth - disappeared. So I suppose you could have just come back here. Possibly." Bill smiled a little. "Don't think the worlds are quite ready for two Karas."

He shrugged. "Never thought I'd ever entertain an idea like that. So that makes us even." And this time, he did reach over to brush a stray lock of hair out of her face. "How are you keeping, Starbuck?"
