Remus appeared in the doorway seconds later. He had been inside assuring Lily that he would be alright out in the shed. No, he didn't need to stay in a room. If this didn't work, he didn't want to be a danger to them.. or wreck a bedroom. The shed was better. And he offered Sirius a tired smile as he came outside. It had been about twenty-eight hours since he'd slept, now, and maybe eighteen since he'd eaten, but he wasn't hungry. He was sick to his stomach. He had been ill already, but that potion had made his stomach twist up even worse, and he had a headache. It was rare for him, to get headaches, but this stuff had brought it on. He wouldn't mention it, though. He wouldn't mention the stomach problems, or the headache to anyone but Severus. No one else needed to know (and get up in arms) about it.

And after offering Sirius a reassuring smile, Remus was moving into the shed.

Sirius narrowed his eyes as Remus walked past him and headed for the shed. His heart clenched, taking in the sight of him, and he reached out and grabbed Remus's wrist lightly, tugging him around so they were face to face. "You don't look so good," he observed, keeping hold of his wrist. "Are you alright?"

To some extent, it was a stupid question. Of course he wasn't 'alright.' He was never alright the day of the transformation. But somehow, this went far beyond how he was used to seeing Remus on full moon days, and he was sure Remus would know that's what he meant.

Oh, Sirius. When his wrist was grabbed and he was spun around to face Sirius, he made a soft gagging noise and pressed his face in against the darker man's neck and curled the fingers of his free hand into the front of his shirt. He felt like he was going to vomit. But after a few shuddering breaths against the other man's skin, he was pulling back slowly and wetting his lips, then nodding. "I'm just.. tired." He didn't want to have to explain it to Sirius. He didn't want Sirius blaming Severus. "I don't think you should stay with me tonight." In case it didn't work. In case it made him extra aggressive, and he ripped the black dog to shreds.

"Bugger that," Sirius answered immediately. There was absolutely no bloody way in hell that he was letting Remus do this alone. He shut his eyes and ran his hand down the younger man's back lightly, over and over. They had fifteen minutes or so, and if they spent all of them like this, Sirius would have no complaints.

The way Remus had reacted to his question, and the fact that he was trying to keep him from staying, confirmed Sirius's fear. For whatever reason-- because life was bloody cruel and unfair, perhaps-- Remus felt worse than usual. Sirius let his lips rest at the top of Remus's head and sighed. "I'm staying, Moony. I'll be fine. It's you I'm worried about. So just shut up and don't argue." He said the last part with as much of a teasing smile as he could muster.

"My turn." Quietly agreed, but he wasn't making any move to let them trade spaces yet. He just kept his forehead pressed against Sirius' dark, silky hair, and breathed in his smell. He loved this boy-- man-- he had to keep reminding himself that here, this Sirius. His Sirius. Was now a man. And he curled his fingers some with a little smile, brushing them over Padfoot's lips. "I'll feel better in the morning." Promised in the same quiet tone. "Some sleep. A few bandages. And I'll be as good as new."

Lily woke up, trying not to fret too much about the full moon. Yawning, the redhead walked into the bathroom without a second thought, right over to the sink. And then she realized that her friends were also in the bathroom. "Oh, hello," she said, suppressing a yawn.

Sirius had just begun to relax, sinking into the familiar and comforting feel of Remus's arms around him and their skin against each other's. And then suddenly, the door swung open. Blasted hell, of course we forgot to shut and lock it!

That was Sirius's first thought, before he quite connected that Lily was in the bathroom, and that he and Remus were naked in the tub together. "Merlin, Lily, do you not know how to knock? I mean honestly, if you wanted to see me undressed this badly, you could have just asked instead of subjecting Moony to your perversion too!"

Upon noticing Lily in the bathroom, Remus' cheeks had turned pink-- darkening the red areas around the two large scratches across his face even more-- but he smiled tiredly anyway. "If you wanted to subject yourself to torture, you could have just asked, he would have gotten naked for you." Slowly, blue eyes closed again. The werewolf was so tired. "Sirius has some.. injuries." The potion, clearly, hadn't worked. And Padfoot had taken some of Moony's frustrations.
