Ack! Need money!

So, an author whose book I keep meaning to read but can never seem to get through is coming to town next month for a book signing on his new novel. Mark Danielewski wrote a very strange tale called House of Leaves. It's been recommended to me several times.

If it's the book I think it is, I've read bits and pieces of _House of Leaves_, and, (in my opinion) I must say, it's very imaginative but REALLY STRANGE. I was not fond of the plot, but the way he wrote was really neat. I don't know if that helps, but it's just my $.02.

Yup, that's about how I see it. It's difficult to get into, but sometimes I want my mind twisted into a pretzel.

Man, that is a good book. I've only gotten about half way through. I have to go check it out again. I mean, it's not a glued-to-the-page read, but it seems to be worth it.

I'd love to have a copy of it to munch on indescriminately after homework or something. I'd never remember to bring it back to a library if I checked it out. XD

god damn, everybody talks ENDLESSLY about house of leaves in grad school so I've been trying to read it around the 500 pages of critical theory I have to read every week. Yeah, it hasn't been happening.

Ouch. I hope you manage to finish it and don't feel like throwing the book across the room at the end.
