Ack! Need money!
So, an author whose book I keep meaning to read but can never seem to get through is coming to town next month for a book signing on his new novel.
Mark Danielewski wrote a very strange tale called House of Leaves. It's been recommended to me several times.
People may be more familiar with his sister, a singer calling herself
Poe who has incorporated pieces of his book into her music.
Argh. I think I need to find myself a copy of House of Leaves because I don't want to miss the chance to meet another author. (My list is getting longer--I started with Robert Jordan and Orson Scott Card, then went to see Philip Pullman, Chuck Palahniuk, Al Franken, Neil Gaiman, and Dave Barry.) I could also see children's author T. A. Barron later on next month.
