The past couple of days have been wonderful. Pansy accepted my proposal and we spent the weekend at the house in France, celebrating. Unfortunately, reality stepped in and it's now Tuesday, so we both had to go back to work. But I have no regrets at all. Asking her to marry me was the best decision I have ever made.

I look at the pathetic man sprawled out on the ground in front of me, and feel anger rising in me. I had been quietly watching from the sidelines, disillusioned, when I watched Pansy Parkinson's father walk into Draco's club. Knowing that the man disowned his daughter and dislikes my son, I knew that whatever he had in mind would not be merely sociable. I watch as the man who was Pansy's father writhes on the ground in pain, screaming as he does so. I look at my own Father, and notice that he is in pain as well. I don't know why he looks this way, but he was fine before he performed the Curse. Just as he lifts his wand, taking off the curse, I turn to my Father, putting my hand on his arm. "Father, this filth who disowned Pansy is not worth going back to Azkaban. Besides, I don't think he will be bothering us again, will you Mr. Parkinson?"

The curse lifted, Mr. Parkinson looks up at both of us, glaring. Then he turns to Father. "You will end up in Azkaban. One way or another, you will."

I glare right back at him. "I suggest that you do not tell anyone that you saw my father, or else he will carry through on the threat to expose you to the Daily Prophet. I am quite certain that they would love to print the story of the man who Polyjuiced himself to look like, as you call me, a Death Eater. And remember this; just because I choose not to use the Unforgiveable Curses does not ( ... )

The moment Mr Parkinson is gone, I see Father lean against the side wall and close his eyes briefly. "You really need to watch yourself more carefully Draco."

"It's rare that I want to use an Unforgiveable on someone, but quite honestly it took everything in me to stop me from using Crucio on him, or worse." I look at my father, who is looking worse than I have ever seen him. "Do you want to come inside? I have an entrance that only I use and no one would know that you are there except me." I'm just starting to close the store. Penny Lyn and Isabelle just left and I have just a few more things to check before I close and go back to the flat, since I was gone over the weekend ( ... )
