Is anyone else completely alone here? Home-wise. No one from my world seems to be here.

Why am I here and they aren't?

[ "They" refers to one James Potter, prat extraordinare. You can bet your arse Lily Potter searched high and low for him. And she's come up empty. Completely and utterly empty. ]

Uh, yeah, you're not? That is, there's a few of us here alone. No one we recognize, that sort of thing.

I don't know if anyone knows the answer to your second question.

Sorry?

No one from my home seems to be here. I just wanted to know if this is the case with everyone.

It's a good way of understanding whoever brought us here.

[ The latter is bullshit. Lily didn't ask the network with the intention of understanding the minds of whoever brought them here. She just wants to know if any of her friends are here. Or if Voldemort - ]

[ If she says so. Bella can't see how it helps outline anything expect possible isolationism, and she's already fairly sure most people here are somewhat (if not totally) unhinged. ]

It's not the case with everyone, but it's pretty common. What that says about whoever or whatever did this, I don't know, but it's definitely not keeping people together.

[ Her mom had to be so worried by now. ]

There has to be a reason why whoever is in charge hasn't brought in the people we were near.

[ Like, say, Voldemort and her son. She's desperate to know if Harry's alright. She can't believe she's left him all by himself with that creature. ]

I'm not exactly an expert at transporting things, but you'd think - something as big as us - would've brought in something else, besides a few of our items.

Where're you from? I haven't heard of anyone else being from around the same time I am, if there's been several who say they're from Earth.

As for the other, no one seems to know.

England, 1981. Are you saying that there are people from the same world, but different years?

xenofuckno December 12 2011, 05:02:14 UTC
That's exactly what I'm saying. I've heard all different years so far, but I'm personally from 2179 most recently. Earth's still around, colonization of planets through different sectors of space is on the rise, and England hasn't just been England for a long, long time.

2179? The future?

[ Thank Merlin Lily didn't choose to use audio or video, because it took her a while to actually reply with something that wasn't keysmashing. ]

England isn't England? Has it - Is it - Well, where I'm from, England is split between Muggle and Magical.

[ What she is trying to get at, somehow, is whether magic is now something everyone knows about. She hasn't quite realised that Earth has many different kinds of Englands, ones that are completely different to her own. It might look the same, but it doesn't mean it is. ]

Where are you from exactly?

England, 1981. I suppose it'd be too much to ask whether someone from this point has made an appearance on this ship?

I wasn't born yet - few more years though and I am. I'm not sure I can say I know anyone from then per se.

What were you doing before you got here?

[ Note a considerably long pause in her reply. Lily could lie - though it's not in her nature - or leave out a few facts. But if she does the latter, she might as well tell a lie. ]

I was with my husband and son. I was taking Harry to bed when we had an unexpected visitor.

[ So, she mixed the details up a bit. The visitor came, killed James, she chose to run to Harry's room, placed him in his cot, and died. It sounds much better than "I fought the war and the war won." Especially to someone so young. ]

It would depend on where you're from, exactly.

No one else from my "home" is here.

'Where' as in the country or the time period?

Is anyone you know here?

Both. And to answer your second question: no.

[ The answer doesn't make her feel any better. ]

I'm from England, 1981. Where are you from?

No one that recognizes me is present here, either.

Where are you from?

[Not that them being here would be an improvement for him, necessarily...]

England. 1981. I'm finding that stating the year is necessary. What about you?

The Digital World, 2002. I have never been to England.
