I was offended, and regardless of whether it was meant as a personal attack, it really did feel like one when I was told about it - though less because of the dislike of the idea (I don't expect everyone to like it) and more just because of the tone.
But on the other hand, the filter-leaking makes me pretty uncomfortable, too, especially once my initial bout of feeling really offended settled down.
I'm sorry for any of my conduct that was out of line, because offended or not, I really don't like the breach of privacy that took place here and I think I did kind of forget that in the heat of the moment. (Though I can at least promise that anything negative I had to say about this entire situation was indeed said under my own name.)
I won't deny that I still feel somewhat offended, and I doubt I'll forget it, but from my end at least, the apology is accepted.
I'll be the first to admit the tone and assuming were out of place. I was wrong in what I said, it wasn't my place to say anything.
But I can't agree with the bashing, namecalling, and especially with the mentioning of names (and journal names) that took place publicly. Or the fact some people were calling you a coward for ranting privately, while there were filtered posts from other people being made on the topic.
In the end it turned into a huge case of pot-kettle-black.
I think we all failed, here. We just happened to be the offenders first.
I just want you to know that I still ♥ you, Shiro. Honestly, after getting a view of this over at BRPS, I just kinda went "wtf?" and left it at that. It's your journal and you should be able to say what you want in it, you know?
Even though I'm planning on playing in RR, whatever opinions you have about the game I'd listen to and take as your opinion, and if I had a problem with it, I'd approach you about it if there was something I need clarification on.
