[A series of shuffling, shifting sounds can be heard, not unlike the sort of background noise you get when someone accidentally turns their phone on inside their bag or their pocket. A low, frustrated sound, like a near growl is made before some discontented muttering can be heard through the comm line.]I knew I shouldn't have picked the habit back ( Read more... )

Sorry if I can't summon up pity for your lack of cigarettes...

Wasn't looking for pity, actually.

How're you fairing? The asylum's been getting a touch more... ooky, lately.

Maybe not, but when you're getting irritable from withdrawal, I'm the one that has to live with you.

Much better, now that I'm back in pants and not begging for knights on white horses to save me from unseen threats.

True. But, if you'll recall, I'm not the first of us to get irritable from withdrawal, am I?

Yeah, that was... unnerving. Kind of creepy, honestly, no offense.

Very much glad to be back. I can't stand processed meat. It's safe to conclude that the doctors have a crude sense of humor. Which I assume you knew already.

And it seems to be rather amazing that there are no ill after-effects as of yet.

Know it all too well. Guess this means you won't be eating the sausage biscuits they served a couple of days ago, huh?

To our knowledge. I mean, I've not seen anything go down, but a few of the people around seemed ready to start something a few days back. I'm just hoping nobody actually did.

...I think I'll stick to salads and cheese.

If anyone has injured themselves while under the influence of the costumes, they'll need to be seen to. We have a resident surgeon here, don't we?

...If you can call it that. Avoid that woman if you can, she takes her fair share of liberties with things, and I can promise you that you won't like what she does.

Ireland? Is England's sibling here now?

I'm... just glad it's all over.

[[ooc: yeah, Germany was dressed as FRANCE and just skulked in shadows for several days not wanting to be seen out of sheer embarrassment.... now he'll be taking a long, way too hot shower to scrub himself clean... lol...]]

...England has an interesting history in how it treats it's 'sibling'.

But no, he's not really Ireland, just pretended to be and I can't remember his real name. Red-headed guy with an eyepatch who isn't Badou? Not that I think Nails is still around, but...

You and me both, and probably everybody else in between.

((ooc: XD Oh, priceless.))

....England has an interesting history in how he's treated all of his siblings and relations, but I'm not really in any position to judge.

Oh--pretending to be... wasn't that young Lavi, the one whose accent is even stronger than yours?

And... yes.

Mm.

Yeah, that guy. I believe the accent was stronger because it was faked. Though better than some impressions I've heard.

True enough. I'm just glad we didn't meet face to face. I might have tried exorcising you and I'm sure that would have ended messily.

Lavi. This time I'll remember it.

Seems it made quite an impression.

Glad we avoided it, then.

Well, your record's good so far. I am Lyle.

You curbed multiple cases of boredom and made a name for yourself. And that name happens to be 'Ireland'."
