Sorry if I can't summon up pity for your lack of cigarettes...

Wasn't looking for pity, actually.

How're you fairing? The asylum's been getting a touch more... ooky, lately.

Maybe not, but when you're getting irritable from withdrawal, I'm the one that has to live with you.

Much better, now that I'm back in pants and not begging for knights on white horses to save me from unseen threats.

True. But, if you'll recall, I'm not the first of us to get irritable from withdrawal, am I?

Yeah, that was... unnerving. Kind of creepy, honestly, no offense.

If memory serves, I mostly dealt with it alone (aside from posting paranoid messages on the forum occasionally). Either way, you'll live. You quit once, you can do it again.

Like your costume wasn't unnerving? I don't know anything about "priests", and I'm starting to feel glad for that.

Never said I wasn't going to live, just that I kind of feel like clawing my skin off. I'll make an effort to keep the tetchiness in check, though.

Oh, that I will agree with completely. Me as a priest is just... wrong. Very, very wrong.

Would you rather I ask if you came away from that little experience with either syphilis or scurvy as a souvenir?

Sure! And the answer is no. It takes more than a few days without vitamin C to get scurvy, and the other one... I have no comment on.

You bring up a good point. Maybe 'catscratch fever' is a more appropriate ailment to ask you about.

That is true. But mostly he just tried to lay in my lap. Or get me to bathe. And a cat trying to get you to bathe is...well I'd have liked it if It weren't so...

Yeah I'm going to shut it now.
