Apologies in advance for my rambly bored post

So ... I'm currently in a position where, in a month's time, I may have the offer of two jobs, or I may have one job, or I may have no jobs! Hurrah! Isn't life fun?

Which means that I still can't move out of my parents' house because I don't yet know whether I need to be near London, or down in Kent, or somewhere else entirely. Sigh. Pretending ( Read more... )

Heh, here you go. This is the room I'm currently using as a bedroom, but it's technically my mum's sewing room/junk room, so 99% of the stuff in it isn't mine.

Haha, I love hanging out with Captain Bailey, hoping that he might occasionally go "What the frak?!" but he never does, sadly.

I'm sure I will! I can't wait to be able to go away without taking up half my luggage with books :)

Hurray for long weekends!

Make Bill Happy is going to be awesome!

I've had a Kindle since January and it's the best thing ever--I had no idea I'd love it so much.

I've been busy, busy, busy, and that's not going to change for a while, but it's all good. :)

That's a difficult position to be in. I don't do well with uncertainty, hope you deal better.

And yay! for fic reading on the kindle.

It's very frustrating, because one of the options, and the one I want the most, is to be able to stay on at my current job permanently. I've been covering someone's sabbatical for the last eighteen months, and she may now be quitting completely, but taht depends on whether she gets an extension at her current job, so my job is dependent on a completely different organisation altogether! Very irritating.

Fic reading on the Kindle is fab :)
