Apologies in advance for my rambly bored post
So ... I'm currently in a position where, in a month's time, I may have the offer of two jobs, or I may have one job, or I may have no jobs! Hurrah! Isn't life fun?
Which means that I still can't move out of my parents' house because I don't yet know whether I need to be near London, or down in Kent, or somewhere else entirely. Sigh. Pretending to be a grouchy fifteen year old is getting dull now. I'm considering painting my bedroom walls black and covering them in posters and putting a 'Keep Out' sign on my door.
I was going to try doing this photo meme thing I've seen going around, where people ask you to take a photo of anything of yours they like, and post it here so that they can be nosy about your life, but then I realised that the answer to 95% of everything would be "Uh, that's in storage at the moment." Heh. If anyone is bored and can come up with anything they want pictures of that I actually have available, have at it, but I suspect it might be tricky.
I'm enjoying my second long weekend in a row. I love this time of year for all the Bank Holidays we get, and thanks to the Royal Wedding, we got an extra one this year, so that's all good. I might actually do some writing today, shock horror. Or I could keep playing Mass Effect 2 and grinning every time Tricia Helfer or Michael Hogan pops up.
Looking forward to reading all the Make Bill Happy fics! There is some awesome fic being written about my faves at the moment, and I'm loving it.
One of my work colleagues wants to borrow the BSG miniseries from me, and I'm quite excited to see what she thinks of it, but sadly, I only have the US discs at the moment and I don't think she can play them. Hm. Going to have to think on that one.

I ordered a Kindle on Thursday? Very much looking forward to that arriving! The last physical book I bought is so damn huge and heavy that there's no way I can take it in my bag to work to read on the train, which makes me sad. I'm going to have to find a way to get all my favourite fics onto it so that I can read those too.
