and tonight on American Idol: Studio 57

Mar 31, 2009 23:20

That was a trainwreck of an episode apart from Adam (okay fine, you win, you are now officially my favorite) and Kris. I don't know, I guess they just won't spring for the cost of licensing ACTUAL current hit songs or something? That is the only thing I can possibly imagine as the explanation.

Except for Danny Hokey's OH SO SHOCKING SELECTION, ( spoilers for tonight's very special episode of American Idol: Studio 57 )

OMG, plot bunny. Or the last bit of your story idea. Adam wins, and his first response is to kiss Ryan. Like kiss Ryan. On air. And Ryan is so used to it by this post, he doesn't realize he's kissing him back at first.

OMG, I totally can't write! But now I want to try :(
I guess that's what criminal law class is for.

Also, personally, If I were to slash Adam with anyone, it would be Matt. It started in their semifinal results show, where they had this moment of inexplicable chemistry in the group sing (of all things), and is strengthened by that confessional video you linked to.

It catches Adam off-guard, when Ryan corners him alone during rehearsals for Michael Jackson night. When he asks Adam if he's OK, he's even more surprised. Of everyone else, he should be the least nervous, and he certainly hoped he didn't look as nervous as the younger, less experienced contestants ( ... )

I think Danny's song choice was more about his grandfather who paesed away a few days ago. But I still hate him for making me hate his grief on priciple because after he's whored out his dead wife for Idol I can't accept anything he says anymore, etc and it makes me feel like a bitch.

*facepalm* I swore I wouldn't get sucked in. Last year was a first for me like that. I swore it would also be the last time. ... yeah. That's not really working out.
I comfort myself with the thought that I won't actually give much of a damn about the music once the show's is over, so it won't be as out of control. (Mr. Cook was only my gateway drug to the real crack that are Andy Skib and Neal Tiemann).

I kind of want Adam&Allison to be the final two. Just an adorkable vibe I'm getting off them. they might we be as adorable together as the Davids.
... they make me want to write genfic. (!)

Kris's appeal? Raindbows, puppies and kittens. He's floated on stage by little cartoon birds. He and his super-adorable wife have matching apronsI'm not sure how ( ... )

and you go "AAAAA, run Harrison Ford, run!" It is a trainwreck of awesome.

Hee! Trainwreck of awesome is the perfect description!

Last week, when I realized I wasn't even sure about Kris' name, I started trying to pay more attention to him. Kris singing a song that I love this week helped a lot. But Adam still owns my heart because I am always riveted when watching him. He's such an entertainer.

Of course nothing this season so far competes with my adoration for the two Davids. Weeks ago, when I saw an interview with Cook where he said something about talking to Archie about once a week, I let out an embarrassingly loud squee.
