Many many thanks to Cesca and Terri for beta on this one. This story was inspired by a conversation somewhere in the comments on a sportshoes post, which I now can't find again but just stuck in my head, about the Steelgrave and Profitt arcs, and how Vinnie might have reacted differently if things had happened in reverse order.

I just finished reading this and my LOVE for this story...HUGE, HUGE, HUGE!

This is just AWESOME and Sonny lives! Also, the thought of Sonny and Vinny with little babies makes me squee like a little girl!

And, um, I wouldn't mind being Theresa in this fic. ;)

That is the awesomest thing that ever awesomed.

Sonny and Vinnie get MARRIED AND HAVE BABIES. OMG. And it works so WELL. I love it! I love it so much! and in the middle of such a torturously horrible weekend, too! You have my undying love and gratitude.

Damn. You read my mind. Well, not with the Profitt before Steelgrave thing but with the OT3 and the baby-having.

And this was, of course, goddamn brilliant.

I *like* Theresa and this family. (Though I feel like I should be repulsed by the attitude towards women - why is Theresa more valued as a baby maker than just as herself, y'know? Somehow, I end up (mostly) forgiving these guys.)

I have some doubts about Vinnie getting in with the Profitts without his Mob history, but enh ::handwave:: (And wow, you managed to write Roger-less Profitt arc.) I adore S. and V.'s immediate connection here, which would have to be stronger for being made in the context with Mel's negotiating tactics.

And then, later, Vinnie outs himself! and it's still True Love. Beautiful.

This is the story I've been waiting to read since I netflixed Wiseguy. Well one of them, the other involves whassiface from the second arc.

But still!

You gave them a happy ending. Seriously. WTF. *dazed and happy*
