House MD: Futures, Friday Night, Distancing

So this requires kind of an explanation. angelacaduca gave me a House prompt, and (after I spent a couple of weeks catching up with the show) when I went to go write it, I thought to myself, "Self, perhaps you have an unfinished story back from your first flirtation with the fandom, and perhaps it might fit." Oh, man -- this makes me so happy. You've posted more House!

The older two don't actually feel jossed to me. "Distancing" is delightful -- I love House comparing Wilson to a cat bringing home its prey. And I can totally see Wilson bringing home hot women that way.

And I love the play on "futures" -- you managed to write both kinds, honestly, the financial definition and the more general one, too.

Oh wow. Distancing, in particular, is heartwrenching. Poor House. I guess we'd all like to think that they'd be together forever, but, if House can't change to be in a relationship, why should he expect that Wilson would? It's the same principle, really. Great job on all three, though.

Ooooh. I love 'Futures', for the idea that now those two are going to live together. And House showing Stacy the contract....*snerk* made me laugh so.

'Friday Night' made me laugh the most. Wilson is easy. So incredibly easy. *wants pictures so bad*

'Distancing', hit me the hardest emotionally. The idea that House has been in love with Wilson for so long but is waiting for just the perfect time to he could keep Wilson just made my hard ache. I wanted to wrap arms around House and hold on. And when he thought he was losing Wilson after 6 months togehter. *winces* I wanted to cry.

Though Jealous!House is one of my favorite things. *grins*

Also, Wilson as a cat, gave me the mental image of a large tawny cat with laying sprawled on House's belly while purring in pure satisfaction.
