House MD: Futures, Friday Night, Distancing

Jan 18, 2006 21:01

So this requires kind of an explanation. angelacaduca gave me a House prompt, and (after I spent a couple of weeks catching up with the show) when I went to go write it, I thought to myself, "Self, perhaps you have an unfinished story back from your first flirtation with the fandom, and perhaps it might fit." So I went to my house fanfic folder to see, and discovered that I, um, had two House stories sitting in the folder that I had never posted, but which had "The End" stuck on them, and appeared to all inspection to be done.

And in the process I got a completely new idea for the prompt suggestion, and wrote that one too.

So, uh, here are all three of them. Futures is new; the other two old ones have been wildly and completely jossed since I wrote them, of course, since they're early first season, but what the heck. Pretend they were posted back then. (Which, by the way, maybe they were! I mean, they are not on my website, and they are not on the central archive, and I don't see them in my lj, but if you have seen these before, tell me where, and then at least I will feel a little better about being an idiot and totally forgetting to post two entire stories.)

For now, House is fine with enjoying the view.
