Hey, would you mind terribly if I friended you? I've been having a great time with your following_sea posts, but it looks like we have a lot of other fandoms in common, like DW, ASOIAF, and shirtless navyboys AoS/period pieces in general. Also, I just received the first Rivers of London book, and I would love to have more people to talk about it with as I go along, because I fully expect it to be excellent!
JYSK, I'm totally with you on fangirling over the books andlargely ignoring the show - there are some parts of it I like okay, but they've mucked up all my favorite characters and scenes, so I kind of ragequit about halfway through the last season. XD
Hey there I thought I would ask before I added you to make sure it was okay. I see we have a few fandoms in common, check on my fandom list if you would like before you decide to be friends with me. It's okay if you don't want to be friends :D
Hi! It's very quiet on here, and I've pretty much left all of those fandom by now (except for Musketeers, and some more obscure stuff), but we can always try if we get along regardless. I'm adding you. :)
You've arrived at a bad time though. I watched s3 recently and my love for the show is basically a bit dead right now (a lot of people loved it and I hope you enjoy it, but I hated the last two episodes. Never before felt so much like three years of fandom investment were thrown back into my face). I'm always here to talk about Porthos and Treville though, bit more unsure about the rest. Probably just need some time before I find my enjoyment of that show again.
Sorry-I noticed the reply just now-the real life is catching up and I didn't have time to reply. I feel the same way about the last season. I;m on episode 6 right now and it's on my PC for maybe 2 weeks- I still don't want to watch it,because I was so disappointed with ep.5. I know how the season ends and I don't have a lot of desire to watch it. Treville Milady and Athos were my favorite characters.:)
I'm sorry you didn't like it either. :( It's really sad how many people were disappointed in the final season of their show.
But yeah, Treville is my favourite character by far, and the way this season ended ... don't think I'll be very active in this fandom anymore, only in circles where I know people like/d the same characters or aspects of the show I did. Seeing people go on about how happy they are that "everyone" got their happy ending is a it depressing after that, and I don't want to keep raining on anyone's parade.

That is, if you don't mind that I basically stopped watching Game of Thrones and possibly will only fangirl about the books.
And I'm definitely interested in your thoughts on Rivers of London once you've read it! :)
