Thank god for Spandau Ballet!

The forthcoming Spandau Ballet reunion had knocked the death of Jade Goody a wee bit out of the spotlight. Such newsworthy gems.

In other news, love having a rational, down-to-earth human in the White House:

I like to know what I'm talking about before I speak.

It's just so refreshing, isn't it?

Yes, what EVER will you blog about now? You might even have to stop blaming America for all the world's woes!

hey, be fair. I've repeatedly said, despite Bush's insistence, he was Not America.

Sure, but I think you have no concept of just how much ragging on America you do in your blog. I have a pretty thick skin about such things, but when it got to be a near-daily rant, I stopped reading.

"The forthcoming Spandau Ballet reunion had knocked the death of Jade Goody a wee bit out of the spotlight."

And the amazing thing is, the reunion was ALL HER IDEA! *Nods.*

Just two more miracles to uncover, and The Sun will get its wish. Pope's on standby right now...

I've read some comments by people who think the president was being rude, but it doesn't seem that way to me.

You know, there have been times when I have put aside a project (I'm in public affairs) for a week or so because, as I like to say, "I never write about anything I don't understand." This exasperates some coworkers, but they know not to second-guess me in that regard; too often people end up looking stupid by shooting off their mouths, either literally or in print.
