If you can, buy a pretty cookbook that you can write recipes in. When my mom moved to Colorado she bought one for me and we spent a fun afternoon going through her recipes and chatting while I wrote them down (with her there to clarify where she got it or what she meant when she wrote something down).

Very important and it was a nice bonding experience.

Lady toilet paper? That is - just wow. I always thought it was hard to think of a product more unisex than bog roll. Man.

And with regards the fleas, if you can get hold of Frontline, do it - it's fantastic. Our old cat, Nikki, had flea issues when we lived in Hong Kong, and Frontline worked so well. We just ordered some the other day, actually, 'cause Candy brings in so many little 'presents' we're worried she might catch something from them. It was prescription-only over here until quite recently, but everywhere else we've lived it's been available over the counter, and I seriously cannot recommend it hard enough.

Fleas LOVE cats, so if one has 'em you can bet the other does too. And your carpet.

And the easiest way for cats to get worms is....fleas, so you might wanna get 'em checked out for that too. :(

If you have issues with mosquitoes (we FL people can't keep 'em away) Revolution is the best option as it kills fleas and prevents heartworm (mosquitoes = heartworms) and prevents other worms as well. Expensive as hell, but at least it's multi-purpose.
